Hispanic Heritage Month 2022

This week, the children will start a new project about books and libraries. Week one we will talk about the author and what they do. Then, the children will be make their own books being the author and writing the story.

We will also talk about how we read a book left to right and top to bottom and turning one page at a time. The children will learn the importance of taking care of our books and how to place them on the book shelf just as you would in a library. We will read many different stories this week and the children will answer questions about the characters and have the time to retell the story in their own words.

Lastly, We will also start celebrating Hispanic heritage month by listening to and and dancing to many different Spanish music
