We are now in week #2 of our Books and Libraries project. This week we will discover who and what an illustrator does. Then, do a comparison with picture books to books with only words to books with pictures and words.
Next, talk about how do we read a book with no words? The pictures tell the story and we make up the words. We will also take a closer look at drawings vs real photographs.
Next, We will review how to read a book properly, left to right top to bottom turning one page at a time. Lastly, In appreciation of Hispanic heritage month we will look at a map and locate different countries that are of the Spanish origin.
