This week we will be talking about pirates. First we will look at pictures and come up with a list of items such as transportation, food, and tools. We will also look at the clothing that they wear and flags that they use and different meanings.
We will be working on our literacy skills by reading books and answering questions about the characters and settings in the stories. The children will draw and dictate their own scene from a story. They will be sure to use their knowledge about pirates to draw a person with those characteristics.
