This week, the children will be working on their last week of the wild animal project. The children will start by discussing if they think wild animals would make good pets. The teacher will explain that their are laws that protect wild animals and that one of those laws is to protect them from becoming pets.
We will talk about reasons why we should not have wild pets such as the size, that they are dangerous, and not providing the proper food and shelter they need. The children will look at different signs that we may see to warn us that wild animals are near certain areas that could be dangerous. The children will also be working on math skills that will help them determine if two sets of items are equal or if one set has more or less.
