This week, our children will start a 3-week project on Gardens. They will learn about the different types of garden food vs flowers and also orchards. They will discover the different vegetables, flowers, and fruit trees.
Creating a bubble chart, the children will discuss why gardens are important? They will learn that gardens produce food for us, provides habitats for many animals and that trees give us oxygen.
We, will also learn what a gardener have to do to take care of a garden.
As a home project, the children along with the help of their families, will make a rain gauge and bring it to school on Friday to share with their class!
