Frog Life Cycle

This week our toddlers are going to learn about frogs! We will start by looking at pictures and talking about a frog’s life cycle; Eggs to tadpoles to frogs. Then, we will paint a picture of a frog, while the teacher points out the characteristics of its body. Such as; Long back legs, big eyes, and a long tongue.

We will learn that frogs can be many different colors even blue and red. That they eat flies, as well as other insects, while playing pin the fly on the tongue.

Then the children will sing the song “Five Green and Speckled frogs” as they pretend to be a frog jumping in the water. It’s going to be a hopping good week!😊
