Dinosaur Week Three

We are in week three of the dinosaur project. This week, we are focusing on mathematical skills on how to measure and compare the heights on more than one object. We will do this by discussing the different sized fossils and bones that paleontologists have discovered. Then, the children will measure their own height and compare that to the height of a dinosaur by making a chart. They will continue to work on graphing information by using a bar graph to show their favorite dinosaur.

Finally, will continue celebrating Native American heritage month by researching how long ago they used symbols and pictures to communicate instead of words. The children will create their own short story using symbols.
