Learning About Wild Animals

The Learning Center of South Park

Welcome back!
We hope you had a safe and happy New Year’s with your families!
Last week we closed out our Pirates and Princesses project.
This week we will start a new three-week project on wild animals.
First, we will focus on the different differences between wild animals and domestic animals.
We will also learn what their characteristics are.
Then we’ll talk about the four different habitats they could live in the rain forest, the desert, the Arctic, and Woodlands. Then the children will get creative in making their own wall animals out of art materials.
They will also make snake tracks and paint with yarn.
They will also start a three week project of creating a 3D model of the Arctic,
which they will continue you to build over the next three weeks.
Fun!
