What makes a good pet?

The Learning Center of South Park

Welcome back!
This week ends our three-week project on wild animals.
Week one, the children learned the differences between wild animals and domestic animals.
Week two, the children learned about their habitats and migration.

This week, we’ll take a closer look into zebras, then do some comparisons.
Zebras versus horses, then make some zebra puppets.
Finally, our children will discuss venomous snakes versus non venomous snakes.

Then the children will act out coming across a snake in the wild and how to quietly and slowly move away for their safety.

At the end of the project, the children will think about whether or not a wild animal would make a good pet.
What do you think?
