Orlando is also home to many professional sports teams, such as the NBA’s Orlando Magic (named after their city), created in 1989 by former Philadelphia 76ers owner Dick DeVos. The Magic is also known for having their arena located in Downtown Orlando called Amway Center. There are other venues across the city that host sporting events, such as Citrus Bowl Stadium, which hosts football games.

As I live in Orlando, FL, I have a lot of different grocery stores to choose from. In our neighborhood, we have Publix and Walmart, so we have a decent amount of choices. There is also Whole Foods Market for those who want organic or fresh produce. If you’re going to go a little further in one direction, you can go towards Downtown in Orlando, and there is Fresh Market which has a great selection of healthy foods. Many restaurants offer affordable food – meaning not too expensive but still offering good options that people enjoy! Some popular ones in our area are Moe’s, Olive Garden, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Pancheros Mexican Grill. Other places with good reviews include Red Restaurant Italian Steakhouse and Pei Wei Asian Diner.

Other than restaurants, there are a variety of activities for people to do in Orlando, including theme parks such as Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. These attractions have been developed over the years with rides and shows that leave visitors wanting more! People also enjoy going to the beaches along the coastline, which are usually very crowded during the summertime.
