Metro West, Orlando is a new center of city life emerging on the west side of town. The latest development combines 12 acres of retail space with 260 acres of homes and apartments. Metro West, Orlando, was designed to be a pedestrian-friendly community that features a vast network of sidewalks and bike paths. The development also includes:

  • A hotel.

  • Several restaurants.

  • An array of modern amenities for residents, including state-of-the-art fitness centers and innovative recreation centers.

At Metro West Orlando, residents will enjoy an enviable lifestyle on the doorstep of Central Florida’s natural beauty. Residents live in luxurious residences with high-quality amenities, including gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances, separate dining rooms, walk-in closets, and large balconies. The Community also includes five resort-style pools with sun decks, a splash playground, pet stations for dogs and cats, views of the lake from select homes, and various stunning landscapes that incorporate lakes with natural plantings.

These residences offer beautiful lake views ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms in size with up to 2,575 square feet of space. Residences at Metro West Orlando are often half the size of new apartments in nearby downtown Orlando, where contemporary luxury residential towers are currently being built. Metro West Orlando offers a prime location just minutes away from many popular attractions, including major theme parks, shopping opportunities at I-Drive 360, and various attractions in Downtown Orlando.

The project was initially planned to be built on Lake Land long ago. Still, the company behind the idea was unsuccessful in getting approval for this location, so they redid it 200 yards away from where Lakeland used to be. The new development consists of 12 acres of retail space, 260 acres of homes and apartments, five-pool areas with sun decks and pools, 1 to 4 bedroom residences (with up to 2,575 square feet), views of the lake from select homes, and a variety of stunning landscapes that incorporate lakes with natural plantings. Metro Development Group established Metro West Orlando, and it officially opened for Business on November 17, 2017. Currently, there is no available information about the Annual Dues. Metro West Orlando is located in Metro Development Group’s Central Florida division. The company has expanded beyond its home state of Florida. Currently, the company owns over 11,000 acres across the United States, including Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, Jacksonville, and South Florida.

Public Transportation available at Metro West Orlando include Lynx buses every 30 minutes only during rush hours on weekdays (5:30 to 9:30 AM northbound, 4:00 to 8:00 PM southbound), 2 stops (Wells Rd. & MetroPlace Blvd.), and Lynx buses every hour on Saturdays (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

The main roads that run through the Community are Metro Place Blvd., Wells Road, International Drive, Westwood Blvd., Lockwood Blvd., and Orange Blossom Trail. Car Rental companies are located near or on International Drive, which is adjacent to the Community. Interstate 4 (which comes up from Tampa) runs through Metro West Orlando and Interstate 495/State Road 408, which takes you to Disney World’s main gate. The Community is a central point on the I-Drive Tourism Corridor that extends from Apopka to Daytona Beach. Some of its prominent landmarks include Orlando Premium Outlets, Crayola Experience, Titanic The Experience at Pigeon Forge, International Drive Resort Area Hotels & Attractions, SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, SKELETONS – Museum of Osteology, WonderWorks, Fun Spot America Theme Parks-Orlando, Orlando Science Center, Downtown Orlando with the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, Amway Center and Camping World Stadium.

Metro West Orlando offers a prime location just minutes away from many popular attractions, including major theme parks (Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld), shopping opportunities at I-Drive 360, and a variety of interests in Downtown Orlando. Metro West has a private resort-style pool for all of its residents on the 4th floor of the clubhouse, which overlooks the lake, another resort-style pool that is open from 8 AM to 9 PM daily on top of the clubhouse, a poolside bar, and another resort-style pool on the 4th floor of Phase 1 buildings that overlooks a lake. There are also many lakes around that contain a variety of wildlife, including alligators.

Each Community has its clubhouse, gym, fitness center, and business center with WiFi access. Metro West Orlando has a community pool within the main lodge, a resort-style pool on top of the clubhouse, a bar poolside at the leading club, and another resort-style pool next to the Phase 1 buildings.
