Turn right onto S Conway Rd and turn left to merge onto FL-528 W/FL-528 toll W toward I-4. Just drive straight and take exit 3 for County Rd 423/John Young Pkwy. Keep right at the fork and merge onto County Road 423 N/S John Young Pkwy. Drive straight and use the second from the left lane to turn left onto Destination Pkwy. Finally, turn left right onto Futures Dr.

Belle Isle is a small island located in Orlando, Florida. Belle Isle falls under Orange County, one of the three islands that fall under this county. The other two are Dodd and Little Broad. It has been around since 1790 but was officially claimed by Spain in 1783 when they claimed all of Florida. Belle Isle has an area of 1,200 acres and is connected to mainland Orlando by the Leroy Selmon Crosstown Expressway Bridge at Interstates 4 and 275. It became a part of Orange County in 1968. This area was given its name by Hope Hull, who received the island as a wedding gift from her father-in-law. Belle Isle is a popular spot for fishing and boating.
This connects to Lake Conway, leading into the Wekiva River and its tributary, Little Wekiva River. Belle Isle is also home to two of Orlando’s four freshwater lakes: Lake Conway and Lake Belle Isle. It has several parks, Belle Isle Park, Belle Isle Boat Ramp, Belle Isle Picnic Area, and Belle Isles Dog Park.

There are no hurricanes or tornadoes ever recorded on the island, so it’s a very safe location and close to all of Orlando’s major attractions as it is located near Downtown Orlando, the Walt Disney World Resort, and Universal Orlando. Belle Isle has a lot of young professionals with moderate political beliefs. Belle Isle public schools are above average. With about 9,471 people and a median age of 33, Belle Isle has plenty of young singles to go out with.
Neighborhoods in Belle Isle include Loganville, Stoneybrook West, Stoneybrook East & Stoneybrook North. The HOA fee is $180 per year for all three communities combined. The best grocery stores in Belle Isle are Publix, Walmart, and Trader Joe’s. The best restaurants in Belle Isle are Hob Nob Hill, Mellow Mushroom, and Bonefish Grill. And the best place to get gas is Shell. The best place for movies is Regal Cinemas Belle Isle 16 + IMAX.
Belle Isle, Florida, has a variety of educational institutions that serve the area. Belle Isle Elementary School is an elementary school located on the island that educates children from kindergarten to 5th grade. Out of 123 students, 11% are economically disadvantaged, and 10% have a disability. The school has received an A rating from the Florida Department of Education since 2013.
The only high school serving Belle Isle is Boone High School, located just outside the island in Orlando. In 2015-16 there were 1,463 students enrolled at Boone High School, and 62% of these students were Black, Hispanic, or Multiracial. It was in the bottom 10% of schools in Florida with a C letter grade and has been given an F rating by the Florida Department of Education since 2013-14.
The nearest community college is Valencia College East at 819 North Econlockhatchee Trail. The college has over 60 programs and over 20,000 students throughout Central Florida. The closest university to Belle Isle is the University of Central Florida, with over 61,000 students as of Fall 2016. UCF also boasts a football program that won the Fiesta Bowl in 2014 and made it into the NCAA Playoffs for the first time in 2017.
Belle Isle features cultural institutions like the Orlando Ballet Theatre. The Florida Symphony Orchestra also performs at various locations in Central Florida, including two performances every year at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, located just across the street from Belle Isle.
