Welcome back!
We are in our second week of our transportation project.
Last week, our children learned about air transportation.
This week’s focus is all about land transportation.
First, our children will come up with a list of examples, making sure not to forget that there are some animals that can be used for transportation.
Then the children will also give some examples of traffic safety that they know. And then the teacher will expand on the topic.
Then the children will use the inventors box, using different recycled materials to create their own model of land transportation.
Finally, in continuation of Black History Month, the children will learn about Garrett Morgan who invented the traffic light.
And then we will discuss why it is so important.
